Our attached home Annexe (small bungalow) was built to a high standard four years ago (2016) and is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac located about 20 minutes walk from Kendal centre along the old canal cycle way. The facility comprises:-OWN ENTRANCE , lounge/kitchenette,shower room, double bedroom , dressing 2nd bedroom , off road adjacent parking , dedicated private outdoor space and a secure area for cycles. We are ideally suited for trips to the Lakes, Morecambe Bay and the Dales.

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

Have a relaxing break in a beautiful Victorian townhouse in Kendal's historic conservation area, with lovely views over the town & nearby hills. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the large garden or take a 5 minute stroll into the town centre with its restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a wide variety of independent shops. Wander around the ancient castle, look for otters by the river or head off into the National Park to the tourists hotspots-there are frequent trains and buses nearby. Enjoy!
