Nestled in a secluded Alpaca field in the heart of the enchanting Ashdown Forest lies a cosy, new Shepherd’s Hut in the idyllic village of Hartfield, famous for its connection to Winnie the Pooh and his timeless adventures. Surrounded by Alpacas which you can feed , this charming retreat offers a perfect blend of rustic luxury & nature. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, or just a relaxing weekend immersed in nature, our shepherd's hut is the place to unwind, recharge and reconnect.

Hut in the Vines (optional hot tub and EV charger)

A unique rural getaway at Hut in the Vines. Discreetly nestled at the back end of or tiny vineyard, which is now in its 8th year. and very private. Our home is 70 metres away but your space is private with a vineyard view. Outside, there is a traditional, wood-burning hot tub (optional £50 per stay or complimentary for stays of 3 nights or more), covered eating area with bbq and wood-fired pizza oven and an electric wall heater-lit with festoon lighting. ONE Small doggy welcome. EV charger (£20)

It has its own private garden with amazing views, set within the grounds of our home surrounded by the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and National Trust Area. On the doorstep there are stunning coastal path walks along the White Cliffs of Dover - St. Margarets Bay beach - South Foreland Lighthouse and a national cycle route. An ideal base to explore White Cliffs Country and its surrounding areas.

Nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside lies 'Hazy Fields'. A rustic shepherds hut with private hot tub for two, located next to our wildlife enriched pond, and surrounding fields. This really is a place to relax, soak up the relaxed atmosphere, gaze up at the stars and enjoy that well deserved break away. Situated between the medieval town of Sandwich and seaside coast of Deal within a 10 minute drive each way. Canterbury just 20 minutes further, there is plenty to see whilst away.

The Stanhope

Extremely private hut set within 15 acres of wilderness to relax in the remotest part of Kent with direct access into the beautiful valley. Most guests visit us to shut the world out. However, we are also spoilt for things to do locally and have some terrific pubs/ restaurants. “We loved hearing the owl sending us to sleep” “this was without doubt the best place I've ever stayed! Spacious Shepherd's hut with a view from your bed of the Wye Crown in a designated AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty). Our location offers a mix of rural and town experiences, at the foot of the North Downs and the Pilgrim's Way for fantastic walks and cycle rides. One mile from the thriving village of Wye with pubs, great restaurants and shops for essentials. Further evening entertainment in nearby Canterbury (15 minutes by car or train) and wonderful beaches within easy reach.

Woodland Shepherds Hut situated at Coes Farm an Organic Vineyard and Orchard making Natural wines and cider, 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room. We planted our 5 acre organic vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

This idyllic retreat is set at Pococksgate Farm. It's all very peaceful here, and a relaxing place to just chill out all by yourselves with no one else around you.

Gordon's View Shepherd's Hut

Nestled in the High Weald AONB, between the two historic towns of Tenterden and Rye is our shepherd's hut "Gordon's View". Located on a quiet working farm our hut has beautiful uninterrupted countryside views and is situated in it's own field with peaceful surroundings that make it feel very private. The large patio doors opening onto the outside seating area, the wood burner and the underfloor heating all make for a comfortable stay at any time of the year!

The shepherds hut has a inside kitchenette, bathroom, a full size double bed and log burner. Outside has a charcoal BBQ, fire pit, lay z spa hot tub and seating area.

Enjoy the unique experience of spending the night in a shepherds hut but with the luxury of modern comforts. You can enjoy a full size walk in shower, comfy double bed and a kitchen. Enjoy and relax with a cup of tea or glass of bubbles outside on the patio or decked area in your own private garden with an option for a fire pit.
