Cottage on the beach

The cottage is right on the shore. It is self contained with a kitchen area and small bathroom. The twin beds, on a mezzanine floor, can be hooked up to make a super king-sized bed. Guests will have access to the beach and a garden area. Parking is on site. Although there is no washing machine, I can wash clothes for guests in my house which is next door. I live next door and will interact with guests as much or as little as they wish. I am usually at home, but if I am travelling I will arrange for a neighbour to keep contact with my guests. Coney Island is between Ardglass and Killough. There are shops and restaurants in both. It is under an hour from Belfast and within sight of the Mourne Mountains and Newcastle. Ardglass has a golf course and there are lots of opportunities locally for walking, fishing and watersports. Public transport is limited, but possible. There is a bus from Dublin airport with a connection to Downpatrick. There is a bus from both Belfast airports with connections to Downpatrick, about six miles from Coney Island. If I am home I will pick up guests from Downpatrick. Taxi fare is around £10. The upper floor is accessible to able bodied adults and children, but would present problems to anyone with mobility problems. (See Pic)

The Stable Yard, Tranquil stay in beautiful Down

Unique shed conversion with views to the Mourne mountains. A tranquil location situated on our 10 acre equestrian yard but close to Downpatrick and Crossgar with shops, eateries and pubs. A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. There's a private south facing garden with access to all of our site with panoramic views over Co Down. Off road parking. Horses and dogs welcome.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

The Studio is a bright, modern self-contained space next to our home in the beautiful Co Down countryside. It is one large space (approx 36m2 with coved ceiling) with living area, queen size bed, 1 single bed and small dining space. We’ve lots of parking and a large garden - plenty of outdoor space for families. We are in the heart of Lecale; 3mi from Ardglass/Downpatrick and 5mi from Strangford Lough. A great base for enjoying nature, the mountains, golf, sailing, beach walks and sea swims.

Short drive to the famous Royal County Down and Ardglass golf courses! Cosy one bedroom house, certified by Tourism NI, with kitchen, dining/living area and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs bedroom adjoins a 2nd living area - the 'look-out'.

Bright, sunny self contained two bedroomed annex (dog friendly) with outside eating area , on the edge of Newcastle, with panoramic views of the Mourne mountains, five mins drive, (twenty min walk) to town centre, the Slieve Donard hotel, golf course and beach, opposite the Burrendale hotel, five minutes drive to the mountains, forests. Tollymore (Game of Thrones) and Castlewellan.. for walking, cycling and water based activities. Bus links to Belfast (1 hr drive) and Dublin (2 hr drive).

"Coney", an old fisherman's cottage, is situated right on the beach. South facing with stunning views straight out to sea, and west to the majestic Mourne Mountains, it is a deceptively spacious and comfortable home. The tasteful and comfortable décor allows residents to relax and de-stress, while enjoying all modern comforts. A relaxing haven for golfers wanting to enjoy Royal County Down golf club (only 15miles drive round the coast) and Ardglass Golf Club (less than 1 mile drive).

Stay in a comfortable and deceptively spacious 2 bedroom apartment in the best location in Ardglass. Walk out your own door to the harbour in front of you and the town around you. There is a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep. There are beaches nearby and a super choice of hiking trails. The filming location of Winterfell from Game of Thrones is a ten minute drive away.

If you love nature, beautiful walks and fishing then this would be an ideal location for you. (Quoile River a short stroll across the road) Game of Thrones fans would also think it's a good spot!

Cara Cottage, Mourne Mountains

Cara Cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Kilcoo in the heart of Mourne. In an idyllic quiet setting, there are breath-taking views and easy access to walking and biking trails nearby. A cosy one-bedroom detached cottage, sleeping 2 adults + 2 children or 4 adults, this is a perfect rural retreat for relaxation or a base to explore everything the local area has to offer.

Loft @ Mournes sweep to the Sea

This is a self contained loft space with its own entrance, while still being part of our home. It has its own ensuite shower room, a small kitchen/dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and a 2-ring portable hot-plate. Please note….. it does NOT have an oven. It also has a settee & satellite TV. There is also access to our WiFi Internet.
