The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Over three years we converted this ruined barn into our home. From the start we knew that it was too special to keep purely to ourselves, and always planned to share it with others. Located in a quiet glen just one mile from the village of Ardfern, the barn is close enough to the well stocked local shop, post office and pub, for convenience, but also remote enough to feel completely surrounded by the majestic beauty of Argyll.

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
