The balcony overlooks the Firth of Clyde and the Holy Isle, and the tranquil view includes swans gliding across the water, oyster catchers on the shore and otters in the sea. Our stylish island hideaway is located on the shores of Davaar Island… a beautiful wooden cabin ideal for those wanting to experience a sense of solitude, be close to nature and enjoy total privacy… whilst still enjoying some luxurious touches and comfort. The Bothy has been hand built, with sheep wool insulation and oak framed double glazed windows and doors. Barnacle overlooks the sea and is thoughtfully designed to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible whatever the weather!

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.
