A small but special little place tucked neatly between rolling hills. Kawakawa Hut provides a simple but comfy getaway for two in a beautiful countryside. Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Kinloch Lake House

Located in a quiet cul de sac, just a short walking distance to the lake. A two story home with a large open area upstairs offering a sofa, one queen and one double bed. Downstairs, there are two double bedrooms, with queen beds and a smaller bedroom with a double bed. A modern kitchen, dinning and lounge with ranch sliders onto the deck. A separate shower, toilet, hand basin/vanity and laundry. Lovely decks, outdoor furniture, BBQ and large pizza oven/outdoor fireplace. Fenced x 3 sides.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful bit of paradise overlooking geothermal Lake Ohakuri, This semi-rustic cabin, loved by everyone that stays, has a bedroom with four solid bunks, another room with Kitchen, table and queen bed. There is a covered deck, with another sink, Weber BBQ, tables and chairs, and gas flatplate. The cabin overlooks the river and has a shared bathroom with three toilet stalls a short walk away, one with a good shower. Lake access and boat dock is 2 minutes away.

The property is right next to the river on a small country road that heads to the lake you can just about fish out the front door into the Tauranga-Taupo River a trout fishermen’s Dream. Great spacious property with excellent outdoor area. A pizza oven to socialise around while the kids play on the trampoline. BBQ available. Close to DeBretts hot pools and 10 minute walk to the lake. Come and enjoy this spacious family getaway whilst seeing the attractions Taupō has to offer. Linen, towels & pillows are not provided, beds have a mattress protector. The woolshed - pet friendly luxury retreat

Converted woolshed, set on a small farm of 25 hectares. We have cows and horses. We are 15 min from Taupo town. The Woolshed is separate from our home, giving you privacy during your stay. From the deck area/French doors all you will see is farmland! We are directly off SH1, down a long drive way, making this a great location for those wanting a place to stay during a road trip, but also quiet and peaceful if you want a few days away!
