Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Welcome to Ballochroy Cottage. A former stables, our delightfully cosy one bedroom cottage is located in beautiful Kintyre. Spectacular scenery, tranquil walks, amazing wildlife and wild swimming are all on your doorstep. The perfect spot to unwind and recharge whether relaxing in the garden with views over Jura, Islay and Gigha or warming your toes by the fire after a long day exploring the peninsula. The cottage is in a rural location about 3 miles from Clachan, 4 miles from Tayinloan.

Ideal couples base for exploring the Island

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.

Carradale Kintyre - cosy Victorian cottage

Take the long and winding road to Carradale - this end of terrace Victorian stone built cottage provides a cosy retreat for couples or small family. Airds Wood Cottage is situated in the centre of this peaceful village, just a few minutes walk from the working harbour and a selection of forest walks. Choice of 3 glorious beaches within 6 miles. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

Osprey Cottage sits only 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village of Dunure, benefitting from: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) & 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 on the ground floor with a king-size bed, bedroom 2 is upstairs, with a double bed and a en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 is open plan with stairs leading down to the living area please see photos), sleeps 5, private parking, unlimited Wi-Fi, log burner, oil central heating, sea and castle views. Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
