Comfy bothy set in a beautiful scenic garden

Craigieburn garden bothy is a glamping-type single room bothy in a lovely 6-acre garden in beautiful Moffatdale, a great location for walkers and cyclists. The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

We have so many attractions on our doorstep like Culzean Castle, Heads of Ayr Farm Park, Trump Turnberry resort, Burns country, some of the best golf courses in Scotland and many excellent restaurants. Guests can enjoy beautiful sunsets, gorgeous beaches, plenty of walking/hiking/cycling trails or family days out in local farm parks. Plenty room for a peaceful escape or time for exploring. The cabin is next to a standing stone with a south facing door & deck area where guests can sit and kids can play. Central heating & double glazing.

The three bedroom bijou cottage is set in the idyllic Country Village of Ennerdale, home to the most spectacular Lake and Wild Mountain Vistas. Ennerdale village has two lovely food serving pubs within throwing distance and a welcoming cafe/shop just round the corner. A truly perfect base for visiting all the surrounding beauties of the Lake District National Park.

Bookings are from Friday to Friday. 2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

Red Stables is the ideal location for a peaceful getaway for you and your partner. It was converted from old farm buildings into a lovely cottage that is comfortable, warm and cosy. There are wonderful views - including from the hot-tub! The cottage is ideal placed for visits to the Lake District, The Solway Coast, the historic city of Carlisle, the Scottish Border and Hadrian's Wall.
