Nature Lover's Getaway!

Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place for you! Kick back and relax in this stylish home, far enough out of the city to get away, but close enough to enjoy the benefits of city life. Be aware - the house sits on a .5 mile bumpy dirt road, worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Due to the location, the best we can do is a data-limited hotspot for WIFI. So, we added a game room. Pets are welcome. The cost is $30 a night per pet that is paid separately.

Two Dachshund Farm (Lavender & Fiber Farm), LLC

We are a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to Raleigh, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Henderson, & Durham. Meet our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats & more. Tours are included for our guests ifAdditional visitors will need to pay a tour fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Events will be considered. The unit is a 700 sq ft apartment over a garage with private entrance. Twenty stairs lead up to the apartment. A pullout couch accommodates 2 younger children or a teenager/adult.

Storybook Tiny House w/ Outdoor Shower, Water View

Just a short drive from Raleigh, this cozy retreat offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful, country setting & easy access to amenities and attractions.

Artist's Studio

Originally the studio of a visual artist (long ago garden illustrator for The New York Times), this petite building is completely private. Firm queen bed. Mix of antiques and artisanal built-ins. Radiant heat. AC. Mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, Chemex coffee maker and French Press, excellent wifi. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.

Faith Farms Peaceful country retreat

650+ sq ft to forget your worries in this spacious and serene, peaceful space. Country living right outside city limit. Enjoy life the way it was meant to be lived. Family, peace and serenity. No smoking in home and no pets. Apartment area consist of a bedroom/living room area including couch with 9+ft ceilings, separate dinette area with 10 ft ceiling & washer/dryer, farmhouse sink, kitchen table, microwave and 4.4 cu ft fridge. Make your stay feel like home away from home.

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.

Antler & Oak (Wheless Farms, LLC)

Set in the country for a Peaceful setting where you can hear the birds sing and see our beautiful flowers and enjoy sitting on the front porch and relaxing. We are set up as a Bed & Breakfast called Antler & Oak in Franklin County just north of Raleigh and East of Wake Forest. The place is 100 years old, renovated the front portion for use to accommodate guests. You have full access to the space including a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths.

Built by renown modernist architect Frank Harmon, the 2128 square foot home on 1.3 acres was crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Inside the home, you are nestled amongst the tree tops while being surprisingly close to restaurants, shopping, downtown Raleigh, Wake Med, UNC, Duke, and the Research Triangle Park.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Conveniently located along US 1 just north of Raleigh, NC, this historical home brings back memories of a simpler, more peaceful time. This two story house, located in the quaint town of Franklinton has a covered front porch and a private screened in porch out back. Come sit a spell in one of our porch rockers, watch a train go by or walk one block to the local brewery, restaurants and shops!
