A fantastic self contained cottage in Knaresborough only 5 minutes walk to the train station and the river and 10 minutes to the market square where you will find a variety of shops and restaurants. Harrogate is 4 miles away and with great transport links you can easily spend the day in this beautiful spa town. There is secure parking at the property so if you are driving there is lots more that Yorkshire has to offer nearby and we will be more than happy to help you make the most of your visit!

The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

Manor House Cottage self catering rural location

Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

Centrally located for York, Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, The Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. Please note this property is not suitable for children under 12 years of age

Fernbeck Cottage is set in beautiful Nidderdale within the Yorkshire Dales. It is ideally located for walking in the countryside and also for visiting the spa town of Harrogate with the cities of York and Leeds an enjoyable day trip away. Ideal for families and couples wanting to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage dates back to 1799 and was the millers cottage to the adjoining property, an old corn Mill. An idyllic location with easy access to many local footpaths and trails. No pets.

The Cobbler's Cottage

Nestled in the scenic North Yorkshire village of Sessay, this charming former cobbler's cottage offers a spacious retreat. Inside, you'll find a wood-burning stove, TV, Blu-ray player, and a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, and a washing machine. Nicely presented open plan, self contained cottage with oak beams set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. A perfect place for relaxation and ideal for your staycation. It is a good base for everyone with Harrogate, Ripon and York on the doorstep. Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks just a few minutes drive away. Dogs welcome.

Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.
