Sycamore Farm Cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a lovely country kitchen. This cosy cottage is ideal for both summer and winter stays with superb access to the adjoining Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The cottage contains a unique mix of antique and vintage items. An alfresco dining area with gazebo has recently been completed in the lovely front garden to take advantage of the good weather.There are a number of games available to entertain incl. darts, dominoes and bowls.

This well equipped, spacious house is nestled next to our farm, down a quiet private road, in a peaceful valley a few miles from the historic Durham City. This house is an ideal base to explore the hidden gem that is the North East of England; discover the Durham Dales and Northumberland, visit the nearby cities of Newcastle/Sunderland, or, even closer 10 mins drive from Beamish Museum. Countryside views from every window, the surrounding grounds and woodlands are peaceful and relaxing.

The cottage is in the heart of beautiful Ebchester Village and has impressive views of the village and the Derwent Valley. Fans of the TV Series Vera will love the rugged outdoor wilderness, splendid market towns as well as the fine beaches and the warm friendly welcome.

2 bedroom cottage on our 450 strong alpaca farm. Stunning, peaceful location in the beautiful Tyne Valley. Surrounded by fields, trees, alpacas and fresh air. 0.6 miles to Hadrian’s Wall. Close House, Matfen Hall, airport, Newcastle, Corbridge and Hexham nearby. No pets, smoking and not suitable for children. Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Byre is a beautiful, luxurious and contemporary, 1-bed barn conversion and the perfect base to explore the Northeast. Only 3 miles from the village of Lanchester, 10 miles from historical Durham City and 15 miles from Newcastle, The Byre is ideally placed to enjoy everything this wonderful area has to offer, from cities and the coast to local attractions such as Beamish and Hadrian's Wall to lovely local scenic walks on the Lanchester Valley Walk and farm shops.

The space is very open plan and bright which brings the beautiful rolling views of the Tyne Valley countryside inside.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS SUITED TO GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

The Annexe

The Annexe is self contained at the rear of Pontop Hall with its own single parking space. The Hall is a grade 2* Listed Building, built as early as 1600. Recently restored the property has all the modern comforts you would expect in a home. You can enjoy a tranquil environment with some excellent walks on your doorstep and in the local area.
