Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.

The View, Aurora,skiing/hiking,close to citycenter

The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us. The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops. A short walk to everything.

Helt nyoppusset hybelleilighet Nytt bad med varmekabler. Seng i sovealkove. Plass til 2 stk i liten dobbelseng; 120 cm bred. Egen inngang. Varmekabler i oppholdsrom. Parkering på stede. Butikk og bussstopp 2 min gange unna. 20 min gange til sentrum, og 15 min gange til marka. Fjellheisen er nesten nærmeste nabo. Boligen ligger sentral i Tromsdalen.

A large cottage with plenty room for 6. The kitchen have enough pots, pans dishes etc to cook for everyone. We do our best to maintain it clean and tidy. Sat in beautiful surroundings, close to the sea and the mountains. Peaceful with a stunning view. Close to Tromsø, but still rural for a experience of the landscape of the north.

Rakkebu, 25 km from Tromsø city

Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage.

The apartment is situated waterfront, southwest on the island of Tromsø. 5 min by car to airport and city centre. Busstop just 50/100m away. Near total darkness over the water during winter makes for perfect conditions when watching the mythical northern lights!

Private apartment, 45 m² with your own entrance in the backyard of the house. The apartment is in the basement, and is bright and light. It is close to city center, - 10-15 minutes walk away. You can enjoy morning sun/ Northern Lights on the terrace in the garden.
