The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. The cottage is ideally located with easy access to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye as well as the charming villages of Kintail, Glenelg, Dornie and Plockton. The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
