This gorgeous, renovated 2 bedroom cottage (circa 1920) is in the quiet country town of Gunning, 45 minutes drive north of Canberra and just off the Hume Highway. The cottage is fully self-contained, private and features slow combustion wood heater (wood supplied) and a kitchen with all amenities, including a dishwasher. The bathroom contains shower and bath. The laundry has toilet, washtub, washing machine and dryer. Both bedrooms have French doors opening onto the covered front verandah.

We are 2.5 hrs from sydney, 35 mins to Canberra. This self contained cottage is about 2km from the village of Collector. We have “Some café “ in town which has a bit of an inner city vibe and excellent coffee. Don’t miss Collector Fresh, a farm gate /providore shop. It's a great place for a stopover being close to the Hume and Federal highways or equally a place to stay and do NOTHING but disconnect and enjoy the peace and quiet.
