Nestled in the WNC mountains, The Granary is the perfect home base to explore Asheville, hike the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Cataloochee, Cherokee, etc. all less than 30 minutes in any direction. Enjoy morning coffee or evening beverages on your private deck or the NEW creekside patio complete with fire table and string lights for cool weather. Bird watching is abundant! The Granary sits between the 100+ year old barn and our family cabin residence.

Only 10 minutes from I40, it won’t take long to get to the trails in Pisgah National Forest (South) or the front door of the Biltmore Estate (both fully reopened).

Short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway to take on a few hiking trails. Take in the sights of some of Brevard's World Famous Waterfalls, and other amazing views along the way. In the winter, you can enjoy the slopes at Cataloochee Ski resort. Same day bookings are accepted. Please give us a 3 day notice of cancellation.

Blackberry Cottage

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!
