Mole is a delicious Mexican sauce that has 20+ ingredients, the most traditional ones are from the city's of Oaxaca and Puebla in México. Im gonna teach you my Grandmas recipe!! and at the end of the class you will have the recipe in your email. Also explain you the different varieties of moles around México. We will start with a traditional Agua fresca, and then you will make your own mole from scratch, recognizing all the ingredients and steps, we also gonna smoke the way the ancestors do hundreds of years ago. im gonna gide you in each step but I want you to be hands on. We will enjoyed the mole at the end, served buffet style with chicken, jalapeño green rice, beans with avocado leaves, and veggies. Chicago’s most entertaining magic show! Fun, intimate, sometimes outrageous, and always hilarious. Door opens 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Venue is BYOB. Cups and bottle openers are available if needed. We do not stock ice but there is a 7-Eleven just down the street (3407 N Halsted). Performance runs approximately 1 hour. This experience is ongoing. I´m gonna introduce you all the simple ingredients that you need for make this unique Spanish and Catalan dishes. then together we gonna cook our paella and fideua, and Im gonna explain you all the secrets for have unique and authentic flavors. Paella is a traditional Spanish dish make with proteins, spices and rice, and fideua is another dish with the same beginnings, the change is that in here we use seafood, and fideo (noodles), instead of rice. This is a very special experience. You will enter an intimate artistic living space, with Spanish music. You will be enjoying a couple of Spanish tapas and your bottle of beverage that you bring. We provide an instructor led soy wax candle making class. We provide all the supplies - soy wax, candle vessels, 20+ fragrances to choose from, candle wick, jar labels, etc. We walk through them through entire process of making a candle. We meet you on our homestead in the deep, lush forests of Northern Michigan. After a short introduction we venture off with the goats, down the trail, deeper into the woods…as they browse and forage for food. I can add dates to this calendar, if you don't see a date or time that works for you, or your group, please reach out and we will make something work! As we walk there is plenty of time for Q and A and space for the joy of experiencing this pastoral pastime of days gone by. Time slows down as we venture with the goats on their quest to seek the finest of the available forest greenery.

You will learn the basics of forging iron with a coal-fired forge. You'll meet me at my shop, and with a hammer in hand you'll learn the basics of blacksmithing. You will square, taper, twist, bend, scroll, and flatten the metal into your unique wall hook. Other things to note This is a rustic hands-on work experience. Be prepared to get dirty! upon entering Aroma Workshop in Chicago's Lincoln Park guests are given a card to indicate which scents from our "Scent Bar" they like, then a friendly Perfumer expertly blends scents on tester strips for the guests to sample. When their favorite is picked it goes into a choice of 1 oz. bottles. BOTTLE IS INCLUDED Also, we're are BYOB, so feel free to make it a little event. :) You'll have the appointment time for anywhere between 45min to 2 hours depending on your group size (45min for groups of 2, etc.). Women, Men, Couples, Mothers Daughters, Best friends all have fun creating scents together. **Groups of 5+ are $65 per person and have a 20% service fee included on the non-sale amount to be paid in shop :) 2.2oz bottles are given for this. These reservations need to made through us by calling the store.

You will be using a coal-fired forge, treadle hammer, tongs, cross peen hammer, and anvil, along with a 2"X72" belt grinder. We will be hand-forging a railroad spike into a beautiful and functional knife. We will start by firing the coal forge and drawing out the handle with the treadle hammer. We will twist the handle and start drawing out the blade. Once we have a handle and blade formed we will "quench" the blade to harden it. We will use the grinder to put an edge on your finished Railroad Spike Knife. Experiences can be made available on different days and times by selecting "show more dates" and then selecting "Request Availability."

The trip starts with pleasant ride through the center of town in Saugatuck MI on the Kalamazoo river. The river then spills out onto Lake Michigan where patrons can assist with raising and setting sails. We then catch the wind and head up the beautiful dune lined coast. Time to enjoy the natural wonder of 100 plus miles of white sands beaches, wander the deck driven only be the wind. The trip ends with a relaxing run back up river to the docks. Other things to note Sailing is a motion filled activity and guests that tend to have motion sickness should prepare in advance.

1. Guests join us at our space Studio W.I.P. and dive into the world of spray paint and urban art. All instruction is done by local artists. Each guest will go home with their very own piece of the mural to remember their night. 2. Upon entering guests can relax and enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage. It's BYOB! Guests will unleash their inner street artist on a 50ft wall! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist and be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol, & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique. 3. Our main objective is to break down stereotypes that often are connected with spray paint. Guests will leave with curiosity and basic skills when applying aerosol to boot.

You will build a full tang knife or blade from a high-carbon steel blank. You will use a 2"X72" variable speed belt grinder to establish a primary bevel.  Next, you will choose from a selection of handle materials (scales), ranging from exotic hardwoods to composite materials. micarta, You will shape and form your scales to fit your grip and liking. Next, you will finish your scales and prepare for assembly. You will create a high-quality, fully functional knife or blade that you will be proud of and use for years to come.
