The Ferny Hoolet is a stunning chalet that embraces nature & is full of character. It is a wildlife oasis where you can regularly see kingfishers, woodpeckers and hear ferny hoolets from your balcony. When you are not chilling in the hot tub, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the indoor space, which has a wonderful, relaxing feel-good atmosphere. We are just 30 minutes to the Lake District and 2 miles to M6,which offers great access to explore the N.W. We allow 2 well-behaved small/medium dogs.

Kendal and the Lakes is 30 minutes drive away.

Penny Post Cottage is situated in the lovely village of Warton, Lancashire. The cottage has been lovingly restored, preserving its quaint spaces and unique features. Lodge view cottage ,is a cottage with ground and first floor accommodation upstairs are 3 bedrooms one double and 2 twin , with a bathroom with bath and over bath shower there is an additional WC downstairs. along with a lounge , Kitchen diner with all appliances ,outside is a patio area where there are table and chairs and use of a BBQ. The cottage has WFI and car park at the side . It is situated in the beautiful valley of Quernmore on a working dairy farm.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
