Im Winter sind Langlaufloipe und Abfahrpiste nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Die Aussensauna direkt am Fluss kann gegen eine Gebuehr genutzt werden.

Proboost Arctic Center cottages (A,B,C) are brand new triangle cottages, which are made in september 2024. All cottages are similar! You can enjoy the wonderful northern lights! You are in middle in woods, but only 1km from airport and 2km from Santaclaus village. In area is grillhut and outside fireplace, where you can roast sausages or marshmallows. Lapissa Äkäslompolon kylän keskustassa sijaitseva saunallinen pieni mökkimme on oiva kohde yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle. Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta. Welcome to stay on our local reindeer farm. The ensuite guesthouse is located in our courtyard by the beautiful (Raudanjoki) riverbank. Forrest starts just outside the premises so leave the noise and lights of the city behind and come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.

Stylish villa with house equipment. A out 40 min away from Ylläs. The site is located on the bank of one of Europe's best salmon rivers. On the other side of the river is Sweden. On a clear winter evening, you can see the northern lights while sitting on the couch. Or what it would sound like to sit in a hot tub in complete silence. (hot tub is not possible below zero celcius)
