Middle BarnMiddle Barn is set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park in the picturesque village of Lawrenny, just a few minutes walk away from the Cleddau Estuary. Middle Barn Sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a spacious open plan kitchen-diner and living room. The property has a private small garden and wifi. It is within an easy driving distance of glorious beaches and all that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

- A private glassblowing experience for 2 people. Each experience lasts 2 hours and David ( sometimes known as the Grumpy Glassblower,) only tutors 2 people at a time to ensure you have a high quality glassblowing experience. David a glassblower with over 38 years experience, will welcome you and give you a safety talk. He will explain all of the equipment and tools that you'll be using and also talk you through techniques and methods of handling and manipulating the glass. David will then show you how to make glass drinking straws, drinks stirrers, a pendant and the grand finale, blowing glass baubles . All of the pieces that you create during your experience will be ready for you to take home at the end. - We will be meet you at an agreed location with all the boats and safety equipment you require. After a very quick lesson we will start our tour downstream. We are suitable for all ages and previous experience is not required. We will take you to parts of Pembrokeshire that are rarely discovered. Along the route we will show you the amazing history of the estuary from its Norman castles and quarries to first and second world war submarine bases and flying boat stations. We will encounter some amazing wildlife from Crabs and Jelly Fish to rare birds and Seals (if we are lucky). At the end of the approximately 3 hour journey you will be given a lift back to the start point to your car. We may finish at a pub, if so requested :). - Over the course of half a day together we'll make from scratch a piece of solid silver jewellery. You can chose to make earrings, a necklace or a bracelet. We will start with an explanation of the tools were going to use over a cuppa. We'll then make sure we are set up safely and start designing your item followed by setting up our work space. After this we'll get to grips with the making process. This will take the majority of time and you'll be amazed by what you can make, with a little guidance, over half a day. Once we have finished our item, its yours to take home and wear or give as a gift. I can provide a gift bag if you wish. Once you've finished the course, you'll have the basic skills to carry on making on your own. In which case, i have plenty of tools for sale if you want to get started as soon as you get home! - Archery: This is called Target or Olympic and is hosted indoors in our modern barn or outside. During your session we will go through a safety talk, then techniques of how to use the equipment and some challenges to help you understand how to get the best from your bow and arrows! We use modern Recurve Bows, Arrows and Arm Bracers. If the weather is good you will also be trying, Aerial Archery: We are the only venue in Wales to offer this, it's like clay pigeon shooting with a bow and arrow! You shoot at a large moving foam disc, trying to work out where the arrow needs to be released. This is a NEW sport and very addictive! Rough age guide 10yrs and over, but it does depend on size, strength and an ability to listen. The session will last about 1 hour. If you don't see a time that works for you, please get i contact. - No bookings are joined together, so you get a very personal experience. On arrival you'll need to sign a disclaimer which also informs you of the basic safety procedures. Then I will go through a full safety briefing. After that I'll go through the techniques of how to throw and retrieve the different axes. Then it's your turn to step back in time, it's a old art that's growing in popularity. During this time you'll get to through 3 or 4 different types of Axes, none of these are shared by anyone else.
