Nestled within the village is a nature reserve, woodland & short drive to Thicket priory, Yorkshire Air museum, Elvington Airfield & York Maze

York Luxury Apartment No 18 The Walk

The Walk is in the heart of York, right beside the Railway staion with one allocated parking space .This luxury apartment has one large bedroom with a super king size bed that can be made into two singles if requested, the other bed being a full size double sofa bed in the living room. A few breakfast items will be provided to get your stay off to a great start. Please read my fantastic reviews, if there is anything special you require i will try to help. York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Ideal location for family/ friends reunions & Hen/Stag parties welcome.

There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

Lovely Victorian end terrace cottage in the pretty village of Laxton near Howden. We have Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one single bedroom. The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.
