Forge a silver ring with Jewelers
Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE! Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish. Some people like it polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look. Others like the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland. Enjoy! Other things to note We like to keep our classes small & intimate so our clients get the most out of the experience. Therefore, we kindly request if you are in a group, please book under the one person. If this isn't possible, please do message us, so we can ensure you are kept together for the experience! :)

An experience with bees and honey
The day will start off arriving at the farm for 9am, there will be an introduction and tea/coffee to break the ice and everyone can introduce themselves. First part of the morning will be more like a classroom experience in my new honey house, I will discuss all aspect of beekeeping from equipment through to how beekeepers interact with the bees right through to how honey is made. There will be hands on experience looking and using equipment and of course tasting all the different types of honey I produce. Basically the first part of the day will be all the theory and q&s session. At 1100 we will break for another tea/coffee and have an informal discussion where guests can ask questions and everyone on the group can interact. After tea/coffee we will all get into bee-suits and go visit the bees here on my farm and everyone will get a chance to work with the bees as far as they are comfortable with. * beesuits will be supplied here at the farm, due to Covid they will be washed and sanitised after each use, disposable rubber gloves will be supplied for wearing under the leather gloves. * it is recommended that each person bring a pair of wellies.

Create jewelry with Ireland's rare marble
* In Italy for the winter, see you in March!* Bring a beautiful Irish souvenir home, made by your own hands! Connemara marble is a beautiful, rare stone found only in Ireland! Join me in making your very own necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings with these hand cut stones over a glass of the black stuff in a city center lounge. If these particular stones aren't your fancy , don't worry. I have many beautiful alternatives to choose from including Dalmation Jasper, Turquoise and Amethyst to name a few. There are many variations of chain and hook in rose gold, gold and silver plated copper. I use copper as it has a close relationship to the Earth with beneficial properties. If you aren't into chain you can choose to have your necklace on an adjustable hemp cord or make a keyring instead. Aside from your little creation and glass of Guinness you will be taking home skills you can use in the future - look at you making all your jewellery for now on! When you are ready to leave, take your piece away in the cutest gift bag. * Time of experience is approximate depending on group size * Please note the options are earrings, chain necklace, hemp cord necklace, chain bracelet or metal keyring. I don't offer cufflinks or cord bracelets.
