Larch Cabin Scotland: hidden gem in wooded valley

Idyllic eco-cabin overlooking tranquil pasture and pretty woodland situated on the historic footpath from Dollar to Rumbling Bridge only metres away from the dramatic beauty of the Devon River. With woodburning stove, fire-pit and private verandah, Larch Cabin offers a rustic retreat with a touch of luxury. Located in the grounds of our smallholding and surrounded by fantastic hikes, cycles and trails, the cabin provides a secret haven only 45 minutes away from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

Harperrig Reservoir is at your door where you can swim and paddle. Endless walks in the Pentlands. Surrounded by farmland. Our Bothies include en-suite, kitchen area with open plan living and double bed. A fully glazed frontal area so you can enjoy the views and sunrise over the open countryside. After a day of exploring sit back and relax in your own private Hottub and star gaze under the night sky.
