Die Wohnung liegt im schönen Weinort Lieser an der Mittelmosel, der nur 5 km von Bernkastel-Kues entfernt ist. Die Mosel ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen genauso wie der Ortskern von Lieser, in dem sich ein Bäcker, ein Metzger, ein Friseur und ein Italiener befinden. Weiter oben im Dorf ist ebenfalls eine Gemeinschaftspraxis mit mehreren Ärzten gelegen. Bekannt für den Wein, sieht man bei Wanderungen oder Radtouren an der Mosel überall Weinberge; so auch über und neben dem Haus.
