Solar powered during the day and battery backup anywhere between 2-8 hours depending on usage when there is no solar charging (no sun) and no council power. We have recently installed solar panels and battery-backup to cope with the loadshedding as well as a large water storage tank for water outages Snug cozy contained room has a double bed, kitchenette with two gas plates and bathroom with a shower. It's not the biggest space (23,5 square metres) but has almost everything you need for a stay in one of Johannesburg's beautiful old tree-lined suburbs. The area is safe and close to the train.
