Horseshoe Cottage is as "cute as a button". This 18th century, 2 story, stone barn was originally a stable with cobbled floor & 3 horse stalls. Now it exudes character, warmth & rural charm with it's thick walls, cottage windows & wood burning stove. Situated in a quiet corner of a working farm yard, the accommodation boasts a Super King bed, luxurious shower room & Wifi, among vintage furnishings. Nestled among the drumlins of Strangford Lough, 1 mile from the charming village of Greyabbey.

Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

Relax and enjoy this cosy cottage, with a wood burning stove and quiet surroundings, or enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. We are spoilt with local pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Balloo and Lisbane, but the cottage is also only 13miles from Belfast City Centre. Converted in 2023, this old Irish traditional barn is just 10 miles from Belfast and 2 miles from the busy market town of Comber. This hidden gem is a tardis at nearly 1000sq ft and tucked up a country lane surrounded by fields. Spend summertime in the garden patio watching the sunsets and winters with the roaring stove watching the wildlife around us and the stars at night.

An original Ulster Cottage set in a quiet and tranquil location, with unique access to Strangford Lough on your doorstep. Having been built in the early 1900’s the cottage is one of the oldest in the area, although extensively renovated, it has retained many original features, whilst providing a clean and modern feel. The tranquil surroundings allowing you to relax and unwind.
