If you want to lose yourself in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, then our cottage is for you. We have created a haven of tranquility to return to after a busy day sightseeing or to hide away in and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. All the seasons are beautiful here, spring and summer and autumn with their vibrant colours, a time for exploration, and in winter you can enjoy the pure air and wrap up warm for exploring, or just simply cosy up inside our lovely, comfortable cottage.

Cwt Blawd - Country Cottage.

There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Our little cottage sits within the grounds of our house but is totally separate and self sufficient. Located 500m from Clocaenog Forest, a mile from the village pub and shop and a short drive to Bala lake, Betws y Coed, Snowdonia and beyond. It’s a perfect base for walking, hiking, mountain biking or just relaxing with a book by the fire or with a drink in the hot tub.

Get away from the everyday with a break in the mountains of Wales. This private, detached barn conversion has it's own terrace, a wonderful open plan kitchen living room and a glamorous and romantic bedroom with an ensuite. Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. One super king bed and one trundle [day bed] in the same room, we have a luxury bathroom and open-plan living space including full working kitchen, wood burner and underfloor heating, outside there is a jacuzzi hot tub which can be added to your stay.

It has a staircase that leads to a gallery landing and mezanine bedroom, with a king size bed, and en-suite shower room.
