Hicks' Hut in its own private wildflower meadow!

A beautiful and secluded off-grid shepherd's hut situated in a lovely wildflower meadow and sited below our 350 million year old cave! The shepherd's hut has a wood burner for cosy warmth and is a great way to have a romantic fire lit evening! The hut has its own en-suite shower and loo. During spring and summer the beautiful blooms of wildflowers attract lots colourful butterflies and pollinating insects. The hum of the wild life and the gentle trickle of the stream creates a relaxing stay.

Entirely private the annexe is attached to the farm house. It is made up of kitchen, lounge and dining area, shower room and double bedroom. The cottage is ideally placed for walking or cycling holidays. It benefits from a secluded patio and garden with unrivalled views across the Clwydian Valley. It has been recently renovated and sleeps two people in one open plan space so, is ideal for couples or friends alike. It has a modern kitchen and en suite shower room. Welcome to our converted loft. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Clwydian Hills from the balcony. During your stay enjoy use of the small orchard with picnic table. There is a parking space for one car. This is a perfect couples retreat. We are situated 2 miles from the delightful, medieval market town of Ruthin with it's historic buildings and castle, on a quiet country lane. There is a wealth of cycle routes and walking paths locally.

Welcome to our charming shepherd’s hut, nestled away in a private woodland. The hut is equipped with a comfortable double-bed with space for a child’s bed if required. Shower and Flush toilet are within an upcycled boat wheelhouse 30meters away. My place is close to beautiful countryside. Well not close to, right in it. There is forestry commission to one side and open hillside the other. You’ll love my place because of the walking, challenging road cycling, mountain biking and just to get away from it all. It is a good place for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). I even welcome well behaved dogs.
