Tullydowey Gate Lodge

Situated beside the village of Blackwatertown on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh. Tullydowey Gate Lodge is a Grade B1 listed property built in 1793. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.

Our accommodation is an open plan living space above a triple garage. We have a good sized living room with a 40 inch tv with preview and Netflix available providing you have an account. There is a large bedroom area with a king sized bed & double sofa bed. In the apartment there is a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge provided. We have a modern bathroom with an electric shower. There is a toy box with toys, games and puzzles. A travel cot and high chair can also be provided upon request.

The comfortable living room has a working open fire, leading to an eat in kitchen which is well equipped and opens onto an enclosed patio. The Hayloft has a very rural location, there is a pub 5 minutes walk away which serves drink but not food. The nearest shops are in Antrim and Crumlin, both are a 10 minute drive but parking is easy. You do need your own transport be it car, bike or motorbike. All can be parked safely on site.
