Debra Cottage by Gunnerside Ghyll,

Situated in the unique position of having it’s feet in Gunnerside Ghyll, totally detached and in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Debra Cottage abounds with character. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Luxury Romantic - Swaledale Shepherds Hut

We have loved creating this very special getaway for two here in beautiful Swaledale. Our shepherds hut is located in an idyllic private location with far reaching views of Swaledale. All the feelings you have as a child making dens and wanting to sleep out in them have been fulfilled ( be it a little more luxurious!). Whatever time of year, a cosy retreat awaits you with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, luxury bedding, cosy sheepskins, kingsize bed. We don’t allow pets or smoking .

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

A stone's throw away from the picturesque village green which has amazing views along Swaledale. A cosy and compact space with modern amenities for weary travellers & dogs. 1 minute's walk across the green you can choose from 3 traditional yorkshire pubs, 2 cafes 2 bakeries and 2 small village shops and the amazing ice cream parlour. Lots of activities available from walking cycling canoe and paddle boarding. Also a great Dales bus service to access the nearby towns of Richmond and Leyburn

Also home to Our Yorkshire Farm TV Series, The Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda Owen. Our 4 bedroomed 2 bathroom cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is home from home with a luxury feel. The log burner creates a cosy feel in the living room while the well equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay.
