Located in Shela, Lamu Island, this stylish two-bedroom apartment is just a two-minute walk from the seafront and Banana House. Rita, the caretaker, is available at no extra cost to cook, clean, shop, and do laundry during your stay. This allows you to fully relax and enjoy the open dune views and peaceful surroundings. The apartment includes two spacious bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms featuring hot water showers, a guest toilet, a full kitchen, a cozy living area, and a private balcony.

This beautiful and spacious villa is away from the hustle and bustle of Shela, in the peaceful sand dunes behind the village. The beach/village are a 10 min walk away down a sandy lane. There are 5 stylish bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (sleeping 10 guests), 3 kitchens with indoor/ outdoor living and relaxation spaces, a huge roof terrace perfect for star gazing as well as a plunge pool to cool down. Our lovely staff keep the house immaculate & will handle your laundry. There's fast wifi too!

The house has been recently and beautifully renovated, combining of authentic Swahili methods of construction with modern details. Ttunu House is a historic, merchant’s town mansion dating from 1740. Historic detailing mixes with modern luxury. Beautiful patios and roof terraces let you enjoy the breeze, the sun, and the stars. An oasis of tranquillity in the heart of Lamu.
