This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Countryside farm stay

Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. At the moment only the ground floor apartment is available to guests. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk.

The Hayloft at Swainstown Farm

Unwind and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. A 300-year-old Georgian hayloft that has been lovingly converted into a cosy, modern space. Set in the heart of a regenerative family run farm. Enjoy fresh farm eggs for breakfast or a delicious coffee from our rustic farm shop "The Piggery" open on weekends throughout Summer. Located near the sleepy village of Kilmessan, 1.5km from Station House Hotel, 6km’s from the ancient Hill of Tara, a 45-minute drive from Dublin.

One of two self catering barn conversions 3.5km from Slane Village. When you arrive you will be allocated The Stables or The Paddock. Both accommodation units are the same and located side by side. No 3rd party bookings and our accommodation is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Hidden Gem Cottages - Orchard Cottage

This exquisitely refurbished cottage provides accommodation for up to five people making the most of this original vernacular stone barn. A chic conversion with a full complement of beams and flag stones. The interiors are a fabulous mix of vintage finds and modern pieces. This cottage is filled with books and paintings and is a dozen steps from the sheltered orchard.

Bobbie’s Barn @ Copney Farm Estate

Relax and unwind in the countryside at the fully renovated Bobbie’s barn set in the middle of the 200 acre Copney Farm Estate with magnificent views all round. Including stargazing, as the minimal light pollution offers stunning views of the stars above. Bobbie’s barn also includes a private patio area with a hot tub for guests to enjoy. Flowerhill Cottage

Flowerhill Cottage is a 18th Century barn which has been sympathetically restored to an exceptional standard. In 2021 we have replaced the bathroom, installed new triple glazing and completed redecorated. The accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, an open plan kitchen/dining area, and living room with double sofa bed and a wood burning stove. The accommodation can be altered to suit the needs of any guest. Cots, high chairs etc can be provided upon request.

Seamus Heaney Homeplace and Ballyscullion park wedding venue are a few minutes away.Irelands oldest thatched pub The Crosskeys Inn 1654, famous for trad music. Game of Thrones locations are close by. Not suitable for party animals so don't ask!

The Byre

A unique farmhouse cottage sympathetically restored with views of Lough Swilly. The cottage is situated amongst a peaceful and rural setting. This is a wonderful space to relax beside the fire with modern facilities.
