Hidden on a hillside in the old town of Wirksworth, the cottage has amazing views over the Derbyshire Dales and pretty Wirksworth. An 1840's stone built One bed cottage in the heart of Derwent Valley - the charming market town of Belper, tastefully decorated to a high standard throughout. Centrally located to the bustling high street, with an array of friendly independent shops, from artisan bakeries, cafés & bars. Not only a fantastic high street, Belper has some excellent walks around the beautiful countryside, wander through Riverside meadows & amble along quiet lanes & be sure to be rewarded with some spectacular views.

It's is very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. It is very private with its own fully fenced garden for the security of your pet should you wish to bring a well behaved dog. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines

Great for walkers, situated down a quiet lane, with fantastic walks from the front door through woodland, fields or moorland. .

Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.
