We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. This luxurious and cozy cabin is tucked into the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo with gorgeous mountain views and the tranquility of nature. Besides enjoying your time at this getaway, venture out to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park and hike the Zapata Waterfall, which are both less than a 10 minute drive from the Modern Cabin. Don't forget to relax in the hot tub after hiking or cozy up by the fireplace. After dark, gaze upward on a clear night for an incredible stargazing opportunity.

Beautiful unique house with a taste of wilderness

This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.
