It is surrounded by vineyards, wineries, small farms and oak woodlands, yet just 8 minutes/3 miles from Sonoma Square & 50 minutes/38 miles from San Francisco.

Rustic Studio Cottage at Stemple Creek Ranch

This cozy studio cottage (lovingly called the Writer's Cottage) at Stemple Creek Ranch in West Marin is a sweet retreat. It has a small deck with a BBQ, tiny kitchenette, outdoor shower, and views of the countryside that stretch for miles. We have two other AirBnB lodgings on the ranch - A 5 person "Rustic Cabin" and a 6 person "Charming Farmhouse".

New construction, completed in 2017, it features serene quiet at night, bird viewing, and relaxing. Walk into town or head for the beaches from here. (It is not in Bolinas, online maps services are still confused about this fact)
