Thoughtfully designed for longer, quieter stays, it offers trails from the back door, clean air, a stove-heated barrel sauna in the healing circle, and a deeply calm, dog-friendly setting. Enjoy coffee on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature, or nestle up with a book in a nook and gaze through light filled windows into the oaks and redwoods while you recharge.

Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

This is a very quiet neighborhood apartment, but only a 10 minute walk away from downtown San Rafael. 25 minutes from San Francisco and Sonoma too. We do live above.

Perfectly situated for hiking, mountain biking or trips to Napa Valley. Strictly no pets because of host’s allergies. There are stairs from street to the entrance.

Grab a ferry to San Francisco or direct to a Giants or Warriors game. Hop on 101 to Napa/Sonoma. Head to Muir Woods and the beaches—all less than 45 minutes away. Ideal for one person (will consider two on request, if sharing bed). Great for short- or longer-term stays.

Located on the hill in Stinson Beach, this tidy studio is just a short walk down to town and the beach. Filled with the sound of the ocean, and close to the many hiking trails on Mt. Tam, the studio has a full kitchen and bath, and unobstructed panoramic views. 31 day stays have a 10% discount and are exempt from the 14% STR tax. Small dogs are welcome, and discounts on the pet fee will be considered for longer stays.
