Peaceful Creekside Cabin near Little Switzerland

This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

No internet, wifi or tv service, but we guarantee you a better connection to nature! Unplug, disconnect and take in, savor the magick that is Tamarca Hollow!

Unplug and relax at our Boat House Cottage nestled near the Linville river at the foot of the Linville Gorge. This cozy cottage makes for a great home base for adventurous trips to Western NC. Easy access to hiking, biking, and paddling. A stocked kitchenette allows for making adventure snacks, or take the short drive to Fonta Flora Brewery. The king bed and comfy futon allow for post-adventure relaxing, outdoor fire pit available or cool off in the river.

Secluded primitive cabin overlooking pond with fishing dock. Close to Linville Gorge and the Fonta Flora State Trail as well as craft breweries. After a day of hiking or mountain biking, relax on the front porch swing in the serenity of the night air. It's the perfect spot for stargazing. The cabin is surrounded by mature hard wood trees making it perfect for birding or spotting wildlife. Fish in the pond or take a ride in the John boat. Enjoy nature!
