Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

Asheville views for miles

Charming cabin with amazing mountain views. House was built in 2021 and tastefully decorated. The bedroom has a beautifully handcrafted king size sleigh bed. Wake up every morning to the sunrise off two porches, coffee included. Living room has a brand new pull out sofa for extra sleeping room. On the side of the house there is a covered area with a grill and a hot tub newly installed 2025. Pets are allowed up to 25lbs and if left alone must be crated please. There is a $100 deposit for pets

Toast marshmallows and spoil yourself with s'mores around the firepit. The cozy space is full of natural light and warmth with comfy furnishings inside and out. Less than 5 miles from Hatley Pointe Ski Resort (Wolf Ridge).

Rustic Brown Bungalow - DOG FRIENDLY!

Take a trip into the woods and relish in nature at our Rustic Brown Bungalow. The bungalow is located in the woods but is conveniently located close to (5 mins) the interstate, shops, and grocery stores. It is fully equipped with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a front porch overlooking the neighboring pasture, an outdoor fire pit, and toasty gas logs. Enjoy a coffee or local craft beer while unplugging from everyday life and listening to the native wildlife.

You have access to our quaint farm, so spend your morning hiking, fishing, and meeting the animals!
