You’ll love my place because of Its proximity to town, the studio is a short 2 min walk from the Queen St shopping precinct, great cafes and restaurants and only a casual 5 min stroll to QEll Park. The two storied Studio is tucked in behind the 1879 cottage with its own private deck, comfortably appointed for couples seeking a Wairarapa getaway or business travellers needing a central location.

Cosy cottage retreat

A 1920's cottage, that is light and warm with plenty of sunny spots, especially on the back porch. Open plan, with easy indoor/outdoor flow. Private and restful. You will love its cosy homeliness and be able to relax in its beautiful setting. With unfenced section it is unsuitable for a family with under two year olds. Easy walking distance to small supermarket, cafe, fish and chip shop and other Essentials. Two playgrounds around the corner. Or stay home with books, puzzles, games.

Peaceful beach house in Waikanae Beach

Located within a couple of minutes walk from beach, has 3 restaurant/bars all with indoor and outdoor seating, a 4 square, dairy and fish & chip shop, organic chocolate shop are also within 0.5km from the house. two major supermarkets are 4 km away. There are lovely walks up the river and around the lakes. train station is approx 4km giving access to wellington city. A Waterside retreat - Waikanae Beach

A characterful and private bach overlooking Waimanu lagoon with views to the Tarurua Ranges inland. Just a short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks. Accommodation includes a twin room downstairs next to the bathroom, queen bedroom on the mezzanine and another living space with a futon sofa bed. Outside seating areas front and back. Wake up to see ducks and swans on the water - a truly relaxing and secluded place to unwind.

Full access to a communal 20m heated pool, with separate toddlers pool (open from Labour Day till Easter) or a game of tennis at the all-weather tennis court. Keep the kids entertained with an enclosed trampoline. The large 70sqm deck provides fabulous indoor-outdoor flow.

Holiday home (Bach) - Waikanae Beach

This is our Bach we have set up to enjoy with our family and friends. If you would like to use it for a weekend or short stays get in touch with us. (Free Wifi). It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. A bach is a small, often very modest holiday home or beach house. Baches are an iconic part of New Zealand history and culture, especially in the middle of the 20th century, where they symbolised the beach holiday lifestyle that was becoming more accessible.

Free wifi, cleaning and breakfast. My place is close to a beautiful, sandy and family beach. The house has a large three level deck with plenty of room for families and friends. It is a short walk to great local cafes/restaurants, a bakery and two well stocked dairies. Continental breakfast provisions provided for all guests. Linen, towels and beach towels provided free of charge. Our cleaner sorts the house after the stay and changes all the beds.
