This ranch house, is set on 10 of the 130 acres with views of Lake McConaughy. It offers the perfect setting for larger families or groups coming to enjoy the serenity of the country while visiting the lake, playing golf or hunting. The newly remodeled home sleeps 12, in four bedrooms (2 King & 2 Queen), a loft with two more queen beds. It has 3.5 baths (one tub), a full walk-out basement with a 70" TV & a game room w/ a ping pong table. The home has new HVAC and tankless hot water systems.

Whether you are here for fishing and fun at nearby Lake McConaughy in the summer, hunting in the fall, a wedding or family reunion or just some time away, this location has what you are looking for. This is a popular spot for watching wildlife, such as the annual Sandhill crane migration (Featured in a recent article on Travelzoo titled "Nebraska is for the birds". You can explore Ash Hollow State Park and view the Oregon Trail, or you can wander down the banks of the North Platte River.

Prairie Lake Cabin

Prairie Lake Cabin has three beds and a hide-a-bed. To the North is about two hundred miles of beautiful grassy Sandhills and to the South, about a 3 to 5 minute walk to the lake for a swim. Fishing is great, wildlife plentiful, and a community of warm hearted people to smile and wave at. This area is all deeded property so there is no required permits to pay Nebraska Game and Parks for. You can launch your boat by driving one mile East on Hwy. 92 to Cedar View Camp Ground.
