Comfortable house on 40 acres surrounded by native bushland. Escarpment and valley views from every room. Frequent visits from local wildlife - resident wallabies, wombats and the occasional echidna as well as abundant colourful birdlife. A perfect place to relax with friends and family with space to run wild. Magnificent sunsets light up the escarpment in red and orange. Log burner for cosy evenings indoors with friends. Outdoor firepit to toast marshmallows and be amazed by the night sky.

Koonje is a charming cottage in a spectacular location with stunning views of the Megalong and Kanimbla Valleys. The cottage is a comfy escape for family and friends. Recently renovated with new bathrooms and kitchen, central heating and well insulated making it cosy in winter and cool in summer. As it is not a large house max 5 adults plus children please, no large groups of adults. It's a fabulous location only a ten-minute walk to Blackheath town centre and Blackheath train station.

ACCESS VIA BLACKHEATH: Amazing views of Blue Mountains cliffs & farmland from one of two architect designed eco friendly cabins on our property. 250 acres with opportunities to walk and horse ride (adjoining property). Now with outdoor firepit We choose not to provide free WiFi or even have general TV reception.... you can choose to unplug from the world (still 4G phone reception). There are 2 cabins close together. No pets under any circumstances. Penalties apply if you bring a pet.

Just 15 minutes from Blackheath, (and only accessible from Blackheath) the cottage is totally self contained, with a wood stove and BBQ facilities. A unique rural escape for nature lovers.
