Hannahs thatched cottage (pet friendly!) is one of the last remaining original thatched cottages in Inishowen. The cottage has recently and lovingly been restored to the highest standards. Hannahs is a perfect base for those who are looking for an adventure, surrounded by some of Irelands best hill walking trails, cleanest beaches and most breath-taking scenery. A 5-minute drive to numerous award-winning restaurants and cosy pubs and just a 10-minute walk to the village of Clonmany.

Enjoy a peaceful break set in a tranquil location overlooking the Derryveagh Mountains and Sheephaven Bay. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or somewhere you can relax and recharge, our property is ideal for you. We have breath taking views right from the doorstep, in a very scenic part of the countryside. We are just a short drive from Dunfanaghy with a number of beaches near by. Our private Hot Tub is included with unlimited use all year round to our guests. We have local recommendations in our guide book but we are available and happy to answer any queries you may have.

Features such as the bog oak roof, open turf fire, flagged stone floor and antique pine furniture create a timeless and relaxing atmosphere. Mary's cottage is featured on the stunning 'Wild Atlantic Way' and is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Urris Hills and beaches.

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
