Remote 300 sq ft solar powered cabin in the ponderosa forest 7 miles from the town of Mancos by Mancos State Park. Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

Cherry Creek Log Cabin

Our cabin sits on 35 acres in a beautiful valley in Southwestern Colorado. Rustic and cozy, this 742 sf cabin has a bedroom with a full bed and a loft with 4 twin beds. Get away from it all and relax in a quiet atmosphere. The cabin is supplied by well water + is 9 miles down a graded road. 40 min to Durango, 35 min to Mesa Verde National Park, + 25 min to Mancos. We recommend a 4 wd vehicle for winter. Roads are plowed to the entrance of the ranch + plowing is set up for heavy storms.

CANYON:Bunkhouse by Mesa Verde Nat'l Park

Bright Star Campground is located in the shadow of Mesa Verde Nat'l Park w/ panoramic mountain/mesa views, just 5 miles from Cortez. Please review all the pictures! Each Cabin is Private, it is $10 ea after 2 guests, up to 8. Guests are not crowded on this 30 acres surrounded by vast open land. Campers love the central kitchen & pavilion, propane grill, drinking water, ice, etc! SEE "The Space" for more on the Bunkhouse and Campground. Up to two pets allowed, one-time $15 pet fee.

Lone Cone Cabin, 16 miles to Mesa Verde

Are you looking to relax by the firepit, have some meals outside and chance to see deer, fox, listen to the birds chirp? Lone Cone cabin @ Kokopelli Cabins is one of two cabins on the property. Come enjoy time at Mesa Verde, Hovenweep National park, Mcphee lake (less than 5 min away) River, bike trails, hiking trails or simply relax in the country. . In the winter there are many snowshoeing trails and so much more! Telluride, Durango, Rico, Ouray are all close for a day trip.

Mesa Verde Hogan

This secluded peace of paradise has spectacular views from the Hogan for it looks over the beautiful Mancos Valley, Mesa Verde and the La Plata Mountains. The Hogan at Mesa Verde is about 1 ½ miles east of the Mesa Verde National Park overpass on Hwy 160 and about 4 miles west of Mancos, Colorado. ( If you would like to add an additional 3rd person, you may do so for additional $25 per night. A folding padded cot is available.)
