The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Our generous four/five bedroom family home lies in the middle of the Pennines up a private road, half a mile from a cosy pub. It has four downstairs rooms, a log burning stove, huge open plan kitchen. Lots of footpaths lead in all directions straight from the front door and we have a couple of bicycles and various wellies you can borrow. There is a pizza oven in the extensive wild garden and a deep cold swimming pond. All guests must sign a waiver about the pond when they arrive..

The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.
