Let's have fun cooking together! Come and learn how to prepare some typical dishes of the Genoese tradition. I will accompany you by telling you the story of the dishes we will cook. After immersing ourselves in the preparation of the dishes, we will have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea, sipping Italian red wine. At the end of the experience, you will receive your recipe booklet and if you wish, some of the food we have prepared. During the class you will learn how to prepare authentic Ligurian food. We will prepare three different doughs, the filling and I’ll share some tips with you. At the end we will eat together what we prepared: Focaccia,, Torta Cappuccina (a vegetable pie), Pansoti (Ligurian ravioli filled with a cheese similar to ricotta and borage) and of course Salsa di Noci (walnut sauce). If you want we can even decide to prepare alternative dishes in advance (at least one week before the lesson). Dopo un breve scambio conoscitivo e un piccolo aperitivo di benvenuto, cucineremo insieme un menù tipico genovese (un antipasto, un primo piatto di pasta, un secondo e un dolce) e vi racconterò un po' di storia e di curiosità sulla cucina ligure e sulle sue tradizioni Mangeremo poi quanto cucinato con la mia famiglia (e' compresa acqua illimitata e una bottiglia di vino ogni due ospiti!) Condivido molto volentieri ciò che ho imparato da mia mamma, mia suocera e dai corsi di cucina che ho frequentato: non sono uno chef professionista!!!

We will leave from Framura port, to escape from the confusion of mass tourism. Aboard a comfortable 6.5 meter boat, we will leave for Bonassola where we will pass in front of its bay for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of the "Prie Rosse", a fascinating spot where you can snorkel in crystal clear waters and not reachable if not by boat. We will admire the beautiful villa overlooking the sea and then head towards Framura. Passing through the beach of "Porto Pidocchio" we will head off the beaches of "Valla '", beautiful sandy beaches difficult to reach and still little known. And more the "pietre rosse" and many others After so many baths and snorkelling, what better than a rich and delicious aperitif with the famous focaccia of "Cueva Blanca" and a glass of 5 Terre wine in a suggestive spot abord of a boat. The experience will leave you without a doubt an indelible memory of a different and wonderful day spent in unique places! In Anna's kitchen you will be invited to cook Ligurian style the old way, using mortar and pestle to make pesto sauce and other traditional sauces. Even more you will be taught how to make fresh pasta like Lasagne or Pansotti and dress them with typical sauces. Vegetables pies, seafood and a colorful variety of focaccias Ligurian style will be the extra choices for making up your favourite workshop menus. Anna is fluent either in English and French and will lead you into the genuine Ligurian culture and traditions through her recipes. Local wine and a final meal will be offered in the cozy garden overlooking the gulf.

EMOTIONAL TOUR ! We'll walk through old downtown along small streets to find out charming squares, stately buildings, hidden churches and medieval towers which tell us anecdotes, recent stories and old tales; you'll discover this area as if you were a true well cultured Genoese ! A Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour is the most romantic and scenic tour you can experience when visiting the area! We will leave from the pier in Monterosso, you’ll get to admire the colorful five seaside villages from the sea, while we will tell you everything about local history and daily life. We will have an aperitif with local products to taste some typical Ligurian specialties, sipping prosecco and listening to music in the background. We'll go to explore a beautiful hidden coves, and in warmer months you’ll even be able to swim in the crystal clear waters of the National Park while enjoying the sunset. After a short break in picturesque Vernazza (during the less crowded and warm months) we will sail towards the sunset, enjoying this natural performance in the most romantic and peaceful moment of the day. We will be back in Monterosso after sunset. We will leave from the pier in Monterosso at about 10 a.m. You’ll get to admire the colorful five seaside villages from the sea, while we will tell you all about the history, the geographical and cultural curiosities that characterize this region. Meanwhile you’ll enjoy a delicious aperitif with focaccia, pesto and other typical local products, sipping prosecco and listening to music or simply to the sweet sea lapping. We will discover beautiful coves and dive to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the National Park. After a short glide we will stop in Porto Venere for you to discover this amazing village described by Lord Byron, Shelley, George Sand and other great poets. We will also visit the suggestive Church of San Pietro, an ancient temple with a stunning view on the coastline. In the low season, not too chaotic and sultry, we'll also stop for a visit to the quaint village of Vernazza, or we will finish the tour enjoying the local crystal clear sea once more. In questa lezione di cucina imparerai a cucinare uno dei piatti più tipici della tradizione ligure partendo da zero: naturalmente sto parlando della pasta al pesto! Impasteremo pasta fresca di diverso tipo: corzetti,trenette,gnocchi,testaroli o trofie, utilizzando utensili tradizionali ed impareremo le tecniche per modellarla. Dopodiché prepareremo il famoso pesto con gli ingredienti autentici, ovviamente con l'uso di mortaio e pestello! Ti accoglieremo con un aperitivo/spuntino di benvenuto nella nostra meravigliosa location, un giardino fiorito a due passi dalla stazione di Genova Piazza Principe e una volta preparato il nostro piatto pranzeremo insieme.

We will meet at Nervi train station, and from there we will walk through the sea promenade, enjoying the blue of the sea, the green of the vegetables and the yellow of the flowers. Depending on time availability, we can visit the modern museum of art in Nervi park and a typical vacation palace of the aristocrats. Then we start going up to the hills by a characteristic genovese street, called creuza. In all the way up we will admire the terraces, the flowers, the dry walls, the olives and a fantastic view of the Mediterranean and the famous Portofino's promontory. After an hour of slow walk up we will arrived to a stone medieval church, called San Rocco, from here the panorama is unequalled. After visiting the church we continue our walk, now flat, to go to Sant'Ilario the famous neighborhood immortalized by the genovese singer Fabrizio d'André. Depending on the time we can stop eating in a noted agritourism or start the descent with the sea in front, to arrive after 45 minutes to the beach. In summer we can dive in the fresh water of the Mediterranean. The possible lunch in trattoria is not included in the price. In case of rain, depending on time availability we can change day or keep the day and do an urban trekking, look experience travelling with celebrities. The duration depends on you. You decide where to stop and how much to walk.

It traditionally consists of crushed garlic, European pine nuts, coarse salt, basil leaves, hard cheese such as Parmigiano-Reggiano all blended with olive oil. Then, learn how to prepare home made Tagliatelle! Sit with your host and enjoy the fruit of your labour and taste the second course ( typically fried anchovies ). Once the work is completed, you will enjoy the meal and the dish tasting with your local host. You will also taste fine local Italian wine.. Finally enjoy the gelato or dessert with some coffee. Un tuffo con maschera ti sveleranno tutti i segreti del nostro splendido mare! Non importa se non hai mai pagaiato, il kayak utilizzato sarà facile e direzionale. Altre cose da tenere a mente: Vi consigliamo di raggiungerci in autobus dal centro città con il numero 15 o 17 oppure in treno dalla Stazione di Genova Nervi.
