One of the most beautiful views in the whole valley, very close to rivers, streams, waterfalls, fishing, hiking, state parks, and more. Located in a private, quiet country neighborhood with little traffic. This 530 Sq. Ft. studio apartment has an additional 10 Ft. x 20 Ft. deck/balcony out front overlooking the Celo Valley with a spectacular view of the Celo and Black Mountain ranges (see photos). This apt. has its own private entrance. Sorry, we must maintain a no pet policy, no exceptions.

Tucked below Mt. Celo Knob, you can expect to enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, the sweet hum of the creek and our gardens. Come for a rustic, simple stay in our clean, light filled home! Located off Highway 80 on 5 acres near the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounded by nearby hiking trails and the gorgeous Celo Knob and South Toe River. Closest towns are Burnsville (15 min) & Spruce Pine (20 min). Super close to Camp Celo, Mt Mitchell, Waterfall hikes, Penland, Arthur Morgan School.

1920's cottage. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Hillside Cottage at Campbell Farm Animal Sanctuary

Escape the city lights and enjoy our peaceful hillside cottage. Stay in the beautiful mountains of Bakersville NC on your own farm animal sanctuary. The cottage is a one bedroom, one bathroom bohemian decorated getaway equipped with a kitchenette, living room with wi-fi and smart TV. The bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed also with a tv. Cottage comes with all the essentials, soap, toilet paper, clean linens, cooking utensils, AC/heat unit etc. Large deck with propane grill too.

Our tiny house is located on our 2 acre homestead, where we garden and raise chickens, ducks, heritage rabbits & Nigerian dwarf goats. Designed and built by us in 2016, our tiny house is surprisingly spacious, has a cozy modern cabin feel, features minimalist decor and plenty of amenities. Our tiny house is located… 35 mins from downtown Asheville 30 mins from the Blue Ridge Parkway 45 mins from Grandfather Mtn and other top tier hiking 25 mins from the A.T. 5 mins from Burnsville

Alpenrose Chalet with Black Mountain Views

Alpenrose Chalet is located in charming Little Switzerland, NC approximately 1.5 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway. Convenient to Asheville and Boone, the Alpenrose provides a private and relaxing retreat for the adventurer looking to hike, fish, sightsee, boat or just relax. Private deck overlooking the Black Mountains is a great place to peacefully unwind. Private waterfall located in the neighborhood is just 1 mile away, accessible by walking or car.

Historic cabin with fire pit, walk to village

Ginny's Cabin is a short walk from Little Switzerland Village and about a ten-minute walk from Switzerland Inn, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin has two bedrooms, a big stone fireplace, full kitchen, covered porch, flagstone patio with a fire pit, and plenty of room to relax outside. Dogs are welcome. I live in a separate house on the same six acres, so I'm nearby if you need anything. The cabin itself is not shared.

Happy Place Valley Getaway

Get away to your Happy Place! Cozy rustic lower-level apartment with 2 queen bedrooms, futon, couch, and twin fold-out (sleeps up to 6). Enjoy free-range chickens, ducks, neighboring sheep, cows, and donkeys, and fishing in the nearby Doe River. Ski/tube at Sugar or Beech, hike Roan Mountain, Carver’s Gap, and the AT, or ride UTVs. Note: pond under renovation.
