The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Cruggleton Lodge, Galloway House Estate

Beautiful, hideaway cottage with stunning sea views, set on the edge of a magical wood. Warm kitchen with Aga, stylish sitting room, two bedrooms and a travertine-tiled bathroom. A dedicated workspace with wifi in this secluded, fairytale house. Cruggleton Lodge is off-grid and has its electricity supplied by solar panels and a back-up generator. There is no TV and guests say that this improves their holiday. From 1 May to 30 Sept, there is a heated outdoor pool and tennis court on the estate.

The cottage has a cozy, inviting interior, featuring exposed stone walls and traditional design the cottage offers comfortable and well appointed accomodation. Inside there is a king bedroom and charming twin bedroom, providing versatile sleeping arrangements.

Cosy Galloway cottage - sleeps 5; beaches & walks

Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

Cottage on the Scottish coast with stunning views

A detached cottage 50 metres from the shore of Luce Bay near Port William village. From the spacious conservatory, guests can relax, take in the stunning views towards the Isle of Man, look out for the family of otters who live by the sea, experience spectacular sunsets and star gaze. For the more adventurous there are lovely walks, cycling tracks, water sports, horse riding centres and top notch golf courses in the area. You’ll need a car to explore but there are local taxis for pub visits!

Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Nestled in the tranquil hamlet of Portyerrock near the Isle of Whithorn, Shell Cottage offers a serene retreat with direct access to a pebbly beach and captivating sea views. This charming, single-level former farm worker's cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and patio doors opening directly onto the garden with bay views, and two additional bedrooms each furnished with twin single beds.
