Our stylish and cozy bungalow features three charming porches that invite quiet reflection. Enjoy an easy-to-use indoor compost toilet. While close to town & I-40, this getaway promises a restorative escape immersed in nature’s serenity and thoughtful living.

Beautiful setting on 8 acres near Jordan Lake and the American Tobacco Trail - 30 minutes or less to RDU, RTP, Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. Full use of a 930 sf guesthouse with a spiral staircase leading to a loft bedroom. Downstairs, soaring 20 foot ceilings and huge windows look out on our horse pastures. Ideal for fishing stays - less than 10 minutes from a Jordan Lake boat launch, and we have plenty of parking for trucks with trailers. Non-tesla EV charging available (details below)

Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Ever thought it would be fun to experience a day at a real working Christmas Tree Farm? Be our guest at the bunkhouse, a beautiful 320 sq ft tiny house full of character. Remodeled from salvaged materials on the farm, this bunkhouse features a full kitchen, bathroom with roomy bedroom and living room. Relax on the porch or roast marshmallows by the firepit. You can take a stroll through the Christmas trees, by the pond and in the spring and summer, through our U-pick flower patch.

"Forest Garden" A One Bedroom Retreat

A 600 s.f. cottage retreat designed by Robert Phillips. One bedroom, full bath and kitchen, and spacious living room. Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River. Pasture may be suitable to horses who won't jump the fence and can get along with 3-4 heifers.
