Fields and vineyards lead to the winding streets of medieval Issigeac, a boulangerie, a café and the perfect afternoon.

Seul, en couple ou même avec 2 enfants nous vous accueillerons avec plaisir dans ce petit gîte qui était un ancien four à pain en bord du chemin de halage de la Dordogne. Il s inscrit dans le style de notre Perigord Pourpre avec ses bricous et ses vieilles pierres. Dans un endroit isolé calme et tranquille vous ne serez malgré tout pas loin pour visiter les bastides et châteaux réputés de Dordogne mais aussi du Lot et Garonne et de la Gironde et à mi-chemin de SARLAT et St EMIĹION .

Le gîte se situe en plein cœur du vignoble, à 4 km de la bastide de Sainte-Foy-la-Grande construite au 13ème siècle sur les rives de la Dordogne, permettant baignades et activités nautiques; et à seulement 15 minutes de Duras et son château médiéval classé monument historique.

This charming little traditional stone house is very cosy, comfortable while being sober and ecological in the same time. I am happy to share it with travelers who appreciate simplicity and proximity to nature. The house is equipped with a very good wood stove, with exposed beams on the ceiling and terracotta tiles on the floor. The house is hot and cosy in winter, and cool in summer (Possibility to pick you up at the train station or airport for small extra fees)

It sits in a woodland clearing just above the lake,a moss lined path leads you to the waters edge 30 m away.The frame is made from tree trunks,the walls and benches hand sculpted from earth and finished with clay paints.The overhead skylight and tall windows give a light and airy feel to the inside and ensure a view of the sky and woodlands without moving from the kingsize bed
