Situated just across the street from Jackson Hot Springs (noted in Lewis & Clark's journal in July, 1806) it may be rented by the individual room or as a whole for private groups/families. Historic Bonanza Inn Room 2 in Virginia City

This building was constructed in 1866 and served as the county courthouse when Virginia City was the territorial capital of Montana. Once the present courthouse replaced this one, 3 Catholic Sisters of Charity from Leavenworth, Kansas used the building to open St. Mary's Hospital for miners. The hospital briefly prospered before the placer gold was exhausted in. In 1940 Mr. Bovey remodeled the interior as a hotel but little has changed on the exterior from the eighteen seventies.
