Besides enjoying your time at this getaway, venture out to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park and hike the Zapata Waterfall, which are both less than a 10 minute drive from the Modern Cabin. Don't forget to relax in the hot tub after hiking or cozy up by the fireplace. After dark, gaze upward on a clear night for an incredible stargazing opportunity.

The Raven's Nest is nestled under the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at an elevation of 8,000' with stunning views of 14,000' peaks to the east and picturesque views of the expansive San Luis Valley to the west. Monarch Peak and the southern Collegiate Peaks can be seen to the North. Great hiking trails along roaring creeks beckon from a few minutes away. Beautiful unique house with a taste of wilderness

This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

Featuring a king size private 22' ft diameter bedroom; an ensuite with a 3x5' sunken tub with three walls of windows overlooking the beautiful mountain scape. The home has an open plan dining & living room with a two twin pull out trundel couch. Outside is a patio, semi-fenced yard and wonderful views of the plains and mountains.
